Consultation
At Stag, we prioritize a pressure-free sales approach. Our website features standard pricing to give you some idea of costs. But prices alone won't reveal a system's financial value. You need a personalized quote.

A ten minute phone consultation is enough for us to provide you a personalised design (although we are happy to talk longer if you have questions). This is then emailed to you for your consideration.
Quotation
A quote from Stag Solar provides you not just with a price, it provides a detailed breakdown of what equipment you are being offered and the various costs associated with our services.
We use the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) model to provide performance estimates and financial simulations that demonstrate the potential payback and IRR(%) of your investment, so you can see clearly if the system suits your needs.

Place an order
Placing an order is as simple as a phone call or email confirming that you want to accept your quote.
We send you an email containing a digital order acceptance link. You check the details of the order and click on the link.
Within 24 hours you will receive a further email requesting a deposit. This is 10% of the order total and is payable by credit card using an online form(very easy). Credit cards deposits are protected by the Consumer Rights Act.

Project Management
Once your deposit is received our Service Manager Marcus will be in touch to schedule an onsite survey and the installation date.

He will also request information needed so we can make a grid connection application and prepare to apply for an Export MPAN.
Marcus will be a single point of contact for you through the installation process

Installation
Stag Solar have its own team of installers and these will arrive usually between 8-9am on the scheduled day of the installation.
Scaffold will have been erected a few days beforehand. (We use Maldon Scaffold Services). An installation takes a day typically but we ask you allow for two as we don't like to rush a job if it needs a bit more time.

Upon completion our installers will help you download any needed software and get it registered and set up so they can show you how to use it.

Documentation
There is quite a significant amount of documentation needed for an MCS accredited installation.

This generally takes a few days to gather together but is sent all at once with a welcome pack within a week of the systems completion.
This will include:

UKPN Grid connection agreement
MCS certificate
AC test certificate
DC test certificate
Building Control Notification
Export MPAN
You will need these documents for insurance, export payments and if you ever sell your property.
